Wel.. As many of you know, I was in the process of shopping for a Copper heatsink and fan for my overclocked P4C. I finally settled on this bad boy, the CoolerMaster Aero 4. To some it looks awesome, to some its the ugliest thing in the world, but I am leaning more towards the first one. Of course, when one buys a Heatsink and fan they don't care as much about the looks as the noise and best of all, its cooling abilities. Well, I must say that on both of these categories this hsf combo gets a 10 out of 10 for me. I went from idle temps of 33-34 for my CPU and 27-28 for my motherboard with stock intel hsf to about 22 mobo and 25 CPU idle. Thats a good improvement might i say. On top of that, i was going around 50-51 C at full load in Prime95, now I am getting like 40C tops for full load. I am using Arctic Silver 5, and I think i did a pretty good instillation job for my first time using AS5 and mounting a heatsink/fan, although its not very hard. It is a great buy at only $25 USD and I prefer it over a SP94 which will run you at least 2X the price without the fan. Although I'm sure they are great cooling solutions as well. oops lol..i forgot to mention the noise factor. Sorry, i have had too many meetings with this girl i know lately ::cough cough mary jane cough::. Anyways, I have it cranked up all the way at 3700 RPM right now (advertised at 3500 RPM) and I can say it isn't any louder than the stock. When I crank it down to about 2500 RPM its practically silent, and cannot be heard over the the case fans whatsoever. I could really careless about the noise as I am using headphones and always talking on ventrillo or playing games or listening to music. But to some, the noise may be important, so there you have it. _________________ CASE ASPIRE ATXA2XPW-BL/420
