depends on the cell phone.......
if its sprint, they use .qcp files......you can find convertors around there somewhere......nextels use the same thing
search on google

then you can TOTALLY do it.....just find the qcp convertor online somewhere....i havent done it in a while so i cant tell you where to find it.....but when you do.......
youll need to sample the song as a low quality wav....like 8000 hz at like 8 bit
then convert it to qcp.....and then upload it to your online sprint vault......then dl it to your phone.....voila.....there you go.....=] _________________

i dont know about paying....but the sprint vault online.....if you got anyother ringers before......thats where you got them from.......srint online lets you buy the ringers.....it puts them in you accounts vault....and then your phone accesses them from there.......www.sprintpcs.com _________________

| i just realized.. that i can download and play MIDI's on my phone.. takes up lots of space tho.. >.< bleh, but its cool! w00t! hehe, i can just upload any pics i take to save some space.. but there goes picture caller ID.. x_x |

any audio editor should do it for ya....some thing like Goldwave, or sound forge, or wavelab.........you can maybe even find something on download.com or use nero's wav editor _________________
