i am looking for a laptop (a band new one) but i am reseaching about it.t i am kind of stuck between toshiba and sony notebooks right now dont know which one to pick. i thought i should ask some PROS such as Nathan. so can u recommand me any of then base on new and good technology.
the things i require in notebook :
P4 2.8 or Pentium mobile Centrino 1.5
60 GB
512 DDR
15-16 inch
buit in wireless internet LAN a or g
ethernet and USB 2.0
nice graphic card
CD/RW DVD ROM
and nice kick ass Screen
One of the most important is the budget is $1600
hard to find all these but for u PROS its no problem cause u guyz use them all the time and please when u recommand anything please let me know what are the reasons for picking that product.

Toshiba and OBM are the only laptops that are made with a metal frame.....drop that thing off table and its fine.....lol
not quite THAT tough....but more solid feel in my mind...and they have great hardware
