| driver updates dun always have to be performance improvements. Mostly, they are for bugs fixes rather.... This 4.46 address some issues with the AGP driver. I've been trying to look for the specific details on the latest update but can't seem t find it anywhere. It would help if you could have posted those in the article too... |

Well, when I posted the review, and info on the driver set was scarce and could be only taken as rumour. But, I have learned that the AGP driver is indeed updated.
This driver set was supposed to be for the newer KT400 and P4X400 chipsets and was supposed to improve the AGP performance at 8X AGP.

Thought you might be interested:
No doubt that VIA's 4n1s are about performance but they are more about adaptability and compatibility although rest assured there are performance enhancements in there every once in a while. Many of the latest 4n1s have actually been versions re-released with WHQL certs. Something us VIA chipset user of old know is something new to the program.
