After reading this review...I couldn't help but think that this could be a very likely candidate for my next case purchase. I'm glad you posted this on your front page news...as did I over at XPC. In fact, it's our Review of the week.
I've always enjoyed looking at other's modded Lian-Li cases, some extreme some moderate. Either way I like almost all of them, but they're prices are just crazy. The price of this SkyHawk aluminum case is acceptable for what it offers.
BTW, ArsTechnica (If I remember correctly) wrote/featured an article where the trend of manufacterer's PC cases have branched from plain and bland Beige to now commonplace Black. Dell has done a nice job with their cases along with other manufacterers. But, as we all used to consider Black unique and in some cases xtreme...this is gradually changing into the "medium". Because of this, the prices on these cases have been allowed to drop quite nicely.
What I'm eagerly awaiting is when the "medium" includes Aluminum cases as commonplace and prices on those will be allowed to drop to the point where poor young computer geeks like myself can afford them. :)
I've got 7 cases here to review including the Lian-li pc-86 which is a new black one and I also have a black one from KingWin. Here is the links to both cases, check them out...
