Hi,

Does anyone knows how can I reduce the rotations of my cooler?I heard that this is possible by reducing the voltage from 12 V to 7 V but how????
My motherboard is a MSI KT3 Ultra Aru, i have a XP2000+ with a normal cooler TITAN TTC-D5T ,the temp is about 45°C but the cooler is too loud.

Thanks

Hello profy,

A good thing to invest in if you want to control fans in your computer is a rheobus / fanbus. This is a device that is mounted in one of those 5.25" drive bays in the front of your computer, and by turning a nob or flipping a switch you have easy control over your fan speeds.

Here is what I'm talking about: http://www.tweaknews.net/reviews/rheobus/

And here is some more information on Fanbuses from the man himself: Cliff's Fanbus Lab Notes
