recently ive noticed that the average temperatures for my CPU seem to be rising. For instance, last week the average load temp was 48degC, then a couple of days ago it was 51degC and now its closer to 55degC, but i havent changed voltages or anything to my CPU since last week. even though the CPU temps are rising, the system is staying at 35degC full load.
why is this happening?
im going to purchase the Vantec Stealth 80mm fan, anyone used this?

by the way, i have a cheap 400x PSU and my case is certainly not one of the best for cooling, dont know if these will have anything to do with it?

your temps may be rising because of the increased speed of your cpu. increased speed means more heat. an increase in the vcore will give you an idea but you never really know how warm you'll get until you hit those higher speeds.

its just that since last week the voltages have always been at 1.7v and i have only increased the FSB by 5mhz, so i dont think that would cause such a large increase. Is 54degC a good or bad load temp?

any opinions on that case?

1 question, when buying a case fan, does the higher the CFM number mean better or worse cooling? eg. 25CFM or 30CFM, which one would be best?

54C is getting to be about the top end for an amd. just try to not let it go over 60c.
