Premiere 6.5 Question - Thoughts Appreciated

Can I have Premiere 6 and 6.5 installed on my system at the same time? And if so, do you anticipate that I would have any problems opening a 6.0 project in version 6.5? I want to export my 6.0 project using the much more efficient Windows Media 9 codec. I appreciate your help.

In theory you should be able to keep both versions installed at once. Also you should have no problem with carrying a 6 project over to 6.5 as I've had no trouble carrying 5 projects over to 6.5, so you should be ok in both cases.

I have photoshop 6 and 7 installed right now so I don't see it being a problem for you with premier.

Thanks, Monk. I've heard great things about 7 - do you like it? Will it run well on an Athlon XP 1.6 GHZ with 512MB RAM?
