P-4 2.4B voltage?

Intel says the max voltage for this is 1.525v. In the mobo bios hardware monitor, it shows a range of 1.58-1.63v. The bios v-core setting is set to default 1.525v and is on the auto setting. I also installed Asus Probe utility, which also shows this range. The fsb is 133, and cpu shows right speed, 2.4ghz. My question: is this a normal range, or will it do damage to the cpu? This is a C1, and I read that you can oc it a little over 3ghz, increasing the fsb. What will this do to voltage setting, and heat. Right now at idle, it is 34c. That is what the Probe says, and the bios hardware monitor is about 4 degrees higher. Should I worry about these monitors, or take them with a grain of salt?

I think it was better when you didn't have all this high tech monitoring systems to worry about. Thanks, Geo

I always bump up my voltage another 0.25 volts to make sure it is getting enough power than it needs, therefore stopping any hiccups.
