For max air flow in a computer how should you set up your fans? the ones in the front of the unit to be intakes, the side window to be an intake and the rear's to be exhaust?

Yes, you hit it on the money there.

Just make sure the two rear exhausts have the same total airflow as the total of the side and front intake.

Balanced airflow means better cooling.

Thermalright makes some excellent heatsinks that are so efficient, you can use a quieter fan and still have excellent cooling.

Oh, and go with ALL copper heatsinks for the best results.

hey ozzy...once again.....you copying me?!.....lol

i have the jet 4.......its not a bad heat sink.....it keeps temps down enough......but i must say there ARE better....its a bit noisy, and its HUGE and HEAVY.....it barely clears my door fan on my X-Dreamer II........but again nathan is right....balance is the key.......
