Double check your connections.

I just set up one. The only wires to worry about are the temp probe, which needs to be pulled out of its protective sleeve, and of course, the molex power connection that fires up the leds and the temp display. Mine works pretty good, except for a rare display problem when a few of the segments don't show. That problem quickly goes away on its own, though. If you aren't getting anything to show up on the display, then there's probably a broken or pinched wire hidden somewhere. I read a NewEgg review where one guy had that problem. He soldered it up and was good to go. Don't overlook the six screws inside the case that hold the front panel on. I just leave them out, because the plastic fingers hold the front panel just fine on their own.

I had that problem as well. But it wasnt until the comp had been up and running for awhile. The display went away and didnt come back on its own. It wasnt until I did some work in the case (changed vid cards) that it started working again upon the restart. It was odd becuase I didnt do anything with the temp prob or anything else regarding the temp display.

Moved to the right forum.

Please post in the correct section.

Also, for your case, there is a power connection that you have to make to the power supply. You will need to connect it so the front display works.

It connects to an adapter that connects to a 4-pin molex.

Black and red twisted wire does not tell us anything.

I checked my case wiring since I have the X-Dreamer, if he reads my post he might be able to decipher what it connects to.

Yeah if that adapter is missing you will probally have to get one from Aspire or wherever you ordered your case, not sure if your local computer shop would have one.
