Alright tweak news, I need some help. I need to deliver an anonymous email to someone, but do not know what is the best way to send it without it being traced. This is nothing illeagal, but the message needs to be sent anonymously, so I don't suffer physical/emotional consequences. Let's just say that "I saw Mommy kissing santa claus" and Mr. Claus should be warned of his behavior, because I see Mrs. Claus everyday. So Mr. Claus needs a quiet wakeup call, because I wouldn't want to be the guy who is known for "ruining Christmas".

All help appriciated.

No, Mommy is fine, but Mr. Claus shouldn't be delivering the 'presents' he is, and definately not to the addresses he has been delivering them to.

Help.

the quickest and easiest way to do this is to open a free email account (ie hotmail or yahoo) and use it for just this one purpose. But if you go this route select a user name that could not be associated with you. It would need to be something off the wall.

This is getting into some dangerous territory so becareful of your wording. If done incorrectly you place yourself in the picture. And this I am guessing you dont want. So choose your words carefully.

Don't worry, not my parents. They are way too old to be doing stuff like this. Just a couple I know, and somehow I was sent information regarding the indiscressions taking place. Didn't want the information, but now I have it. Just wanted to send an e-mail saying 'smarten up, people know' type thing, but am not in a position to tell this person to their face.

Just a bad position I'm stuck in, but if I want to have a decent nights sleep again, I have to do something, just so I can say 'well, I tried to help'

Thanks for the info guys.

I'd say setup a hotmail or excite.com email account and sent them the email.

try anonymous mail program 1.0

heres and excellent description about it.

-How does it work?

When you send an email using Anonymous Mail Program, it forwards the mail to the application's mail servers rather than directly to the recipient.

The mail servers process and strip all identification -- including the sender's IP address -- from the email headers. The server then repackages the message with new headers and passes it along to the recipient. If your target reads the mail headers, all they see is the service's mail-server information and not your own.
