The Lexa S is an updated version of the classic Lexa and Lexa Blackline Series, which goes into a totally different direction. With a much lower price point it is stuffed with a radically different set of features along with four, white bladed fans, a fan controller and the possibility to use a dual radiator within the case. These are just some of the numerous new features of the Lexa S, while the review goes into all the details. |

While it is easy to splurge on high speed CPUs and fancy looking cases, often sound is last on the list of things we spend money on. Once you plug in a good pair of speakers and you hear your games and movies come to life, the reason why it is good to spend money on a good pair of speakers suddenly becomes apparent..." |
Custom Cooled Video Card Shootout: ASUS & MSI @ HotHardware.com |
Posted by Nathan @ 5:57 PM (EDT) |
One of the sub-categories cropping up amongst OEMs are videos cards which feature highly customized cooling along with special controller chips or other functionality that help facilitate tweaking the card's performance. These cards all have a few things in common. First, they all mount beefy and often very radical cooling designs which are a distinct departure from the ATI / NVIDIA approved reference cooler designs. They also offer some form of advanced tweaking features either in software, firmware or hardware (or perhaps all 3), that a stock reference design wouldn't possess, such as fan and voltage control. |

After many hours of testing, the Seasonic S12D 750W power supply proved itself to be a pretty solid unit. It even bested a popular 80 Plus certified PC Power & Cooling brand unit rated for the same total power. Among other things, the S12D 750W is solidly built, very quiet under load, and considerably smaller than its PC Power & Cooling counterpart. |

Today is no different, with high end case and PSU manufacturer InWin dropping off their Maelstrom chassis for us to take a look at. It features some rather interesting looks to say the least, along with fluorescent cooling fans, and water cooling mounts ready to go. Let's see how it turns out." |

It has been some time since we reviewed a CPU cooler from Spire. Their coolers were how we first got to know them. These days they have power supplies like the BlackMoon we recently reviewed. They are also known for manufacturing casings, hard drive enclosures and even cooling fans. Spire is a company that wants to offer the people of the world a complete array of components. Today, we will be reviewing their newest CPU cooler called the ThermMax Pro. The TherMax Pro is designed to replace that stock CPU cooler and offer better than stock cooling performance, while maintaining a good performance to noise ratio. Like any other product, we will give the TherMax Pro its time on the bench just to see how well it does on an everyday system. |

The board we get to look at today, though, was one that most would not think would belong in that series of boards. "The HD 5850 is a bit smaller than its big brother the HD 5870. It's smaller stature in no way is a reflection on the performance that is delivered by this card - it just eases the minds of those who have a smaller chassis and are looking for an upgrade path. The only down side I have on the 5800 series is the fact that while the 5850 has much improved cooling with its two heatpipe equipped heatsink, the fan noise is still there. But you do not have to peg the fan either so that is some small consolation." |

NZXT Panzerbox Classic Series Gaming Case Review @ OverclockersHQ |

So your looking for a new LAN Party Case for your rig, some are small and easy to carry and because of that there is no room for your larger video card. Next you look at another case that is big and has plenty of room for your video card, but now that in itself becomes a problem because now not only do you have a case that’s heavy case but is also awkward to carry and navigate the pathways. Well before you give up on looking take a look at the NZXT Panzerbox. As the name assumes this case is a tank, being very short and made of solid aluminum it makes this case nice and light and easy to carry as well as being extremely open inside with plenty of room for custom mods and large video cards and MOBOs of all sizes. Let’s take a closer look at what else makes this case unique: |

High definition is supported thanks to a variety of file formats, and with 1080p output via HDMI, there shouldn't be anything it can't handle. It was able to play all but one file I queued up, and whether my media was local or streaming from my network, it generally looked and sounded just fine. |

"A netbook makes a fine travel notebook to check up on e-mail, find night life destinations on Google maps, and tap out a few quick journal entries, but for heavy lifting, Intel's Atom is a garden trowel where a backhoe is needed. Yet for anyone who needs a little more, there's an awfully intimidating price gap to leap to get to a full-fledged Intel Core 2 Duo machine, and when you get to the other side, the weight might have you wishing for your Atom back. A quickly growing crop of machines using Intel's CULV processors have sprouted up to fill that gap, offering power and portability somewhere in between netbook and notebook. NZXT Beta Mid-Tower Steel Chassis Review @ Overclockers Online |

Overall, I was pleased with the NZXT Beta. It is much like any other mid-tower case out there today. Advantages include the fact that installation is easy albeit no manual is included. There is a lot of room for all your hardware. With the ability to have a total of four 120mm fans, cooling should not be an issue. Some things that could be improved and that I would like to see are the addition of a removable motherboard tray and better build quality. |

But the WNDR3700 also has a few features that we haven't seen in any router, including the ability to monitor and even limit the amount of data that can be downloaded from or uploaded to the Internet, a valuable benefit if your Internet service provider caps your bandwidth and charges you for exceeding that cap. "Having tested out many of the applications I mentioned in the past, the Palit GT 220 offers decreased time to complete a task than the CPU alone. The Palit GT 220 is not a gaming powerhouse but it does allow you to play at 1280x1024 with settings that are not the bottom of the barrel but fall into the middle of the road. I think most consumers will be quite pleased with the results given the $150 cost of this device. |

Whole platform is based on Intel Atom CPU, but chipset and graphics card are different, so besides hardware support for HD video reproduction there is also support for DirectX 10. The Panzerbox is sort of meant to be a portable case, it's small and compact in size, but yet has a lot of room for even large video cards and several hard drives. It features 190mm fans on the top and in the front, along with a 120mm rear exhaust fan as well so it offer quite a bit of cooling for your system.
